Steps to sign up
- Register for DIB Mobile Banking at the branch
- You will receive your DIB Mobile log in credentials via SMS and email after document verification by the bank
- Download DIB Bank Kenya App from your Mobile App Store
- You will receive the recreate Key
- Sign in with your DIB Mobile credentials (username and password)
- Change your Password

To register for the DIB mobile banking services:
- Visit the branch and complete the application form OR
- Select the service on the account opening form
- You MUST be a current account holder of DIB Bank.
- You MUST be a mobile subscriber of a cellular service provider for receipt of Log in PIN upon registration.

Normal mobile network operator charges will apply for Internet services when using the DIB application or per USSD session
You can access our mobile banking platform through these two channels:
A. DIB Mobile Banking – USSD
To activate mobile banking dial *278# and enter your PIN.
This service is available to both Safaricom and Airtel Subscribers.
The services available on *278# are:
- Balance enquiry and Mini statement request
- Send airtime to your phone or to any Safaricom, Airtel or Telkom Subscriber
- Transfer of funds from your DIB Bank Account to your M-PESA or any MPESA subscriber
- Transfer of funds from your DIB Bank Account to your Airtel Money or any Airtel Money subscriber
- Pay your KPLC, DSTV, GOTV, Zuku, Nairobi water and purchase KPLC prepaid Token directly from DIB account
- Conduct funds transfers within DIB Bank Accounts
- Fund your DIB Bank account via MPESA using PayBill 342342
B. DIB (K) Mobile Application
The DIB (K) Mobile App is a Mobile Banking App owned by DIB Bank and is available on Android and IOS app stores.
The App has the following features:
- Quick balance display for registered accounts
- Branch & ATM locator with banking hours’ information
- Fast contact to DIB Bank customer care services via telephone, email & social media (Twitter and Facebook)
- Transfer of funds from your DIB Bank Account to M-PESA or Airtel Money that is linked to phone address book
- Airtime purchase service that is linked to phone address book
- Bill presentment and payment options for major billers and utilities
- Funds transfers within DIB Bank Accounts
- Secure payment option via Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)
- Bill presentment and payment options for major billers and utilities (with balances and account confirmation)
- Fund your DIB Bank account via MPESA using PayBill 342342

Note:

- Changes in tariff will be communicated to the customers.
- The transaction charges exclude Excise Duty
You can access all your accounts apart from your loan accounts. Funds transfer services however, are currently only accessible for the Kenya Shilling current accounts

Note: Please note that you can only hold a maximum of Kes 100,000 in your MPESA account. If you attempt to transfer an amount that will result in your MPESA account having a balance higher than the allowed maximum of Kes 100,000, the transaction will fail.
- Go to the Airtel SIM toolkit
- Select Airtel Money
- Select Make Payments
- Select Paybill
- Scroll down and select ‘Other’
- In the Business Name section, type in the Paybill Number: 342342
- Enter the amount in Kshs you want to pay.
- Enter your secret Airtel Money PIN.
- Under reference, enter DIB Bank Account Number
If the above procedure does not work, use the procedure below.
- Dial *222#
- Select Airtel Money Menu
- Select your language.
- Select Lipa na Airtel Money
- Select Pay Bill
- Select Other
- In the Business Name section, type in the Paybill Number: 342342
- Enter the amount in Kshs you want to pay.
- Enter your secret Airtel Money PIN.
- Enter the DIB Bank Account Number
